Designed for Life
Natural homes handcrafted from, with and for our true nature
Imagine a home that is beautiful, meaningful, comfortable, and healthy - crafted from low-cost, local, minimally-processed materials. A home with a low carbon footprint and a deep heartbeat, built by hand with care and intention.
A home designed not just to shelter you - but to elevate your life, and align you with your true nature.
“We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us.”

“Dijahn is such a talented earth artist - he has this amazing ability to take your vision and turn it into something real and grounded. He knows his stuff technically, but what really stands out is his heart.”

About Me
I’m Dijahn Fenner - a natural builder, designer, and lifelong student of nature.
For over a decade, I’ve been walking the path of building with earth, stone, clay, straw, and timber - learning to read landscapes and listen to the quiet intelligence of place. My work is guided by a deep respect for the elements, and for the ancestral wisdom carried in our bones: that shelter is sacred, and that the way we build reflects how we relate to the world.
Natural building, for me, is more than a craft. It’s a practice of remembrance, resilience, and reciprocity. It’s about creating spaces that are alive - shaped by local materials, rooted in ecological patterns, and responsive to the people who inhabit them.
Through workshops, design, and hands-on collaboration, I support others in reweaving their connection to land, to community, and to their own capacity to create. Whether building a home, a sanctuary, or a school, my intention is always to serve the emergence of structures that are not only beautiful and functional - but a true reflection of the living world.
Each project a co-creation of people and place alike. I offer deep gratitude to the many ecosystems, landscapes, and lineages that have shaped my understanding, and to the friends, teachers, craftspeople, students, and clients who have walked this journey with me:
Ashley McDonell, Zeb Sweezy, Avani Patrick, Cat Odell, Michael G. Smith, Athena Steen, Lydia Doleman, Kyle Alexander, James Henderson, Ryan Kirkby - and all the un-named muddy hands along the way.
